This is the shocking moment a crypto trader is shot dead outside his home one week before his pregnant wife is due to have their baby.
Evgeniy Sipatov was reportedly going for a walk when he stopped for a chat with a neighbour in the city of Lanus, in Buenos Aires Province in Argentina.
Footage taken from a security camera installed by city officials in a bid to curb street crime shows how two motorcycles suddenly slow down.
While the motorcyclists remain on their bikes, both pillion passengers get off and immediately dash towards the two people sitting in the shade of a tree.
Sipatov’s neighbour can be seen running down the sidewalk and around the next corner but at some stage, the 43-year-old Ukrainian national is shot, and briefly stumbles forward before he collapses.
Two dogs can be seen running around nervously before checking on the seriously injured Ukrainian as the four criminals leave the scene.
Sipatov was taken to a hospital where he died.
A preliminary autopsy report showed that Spiatov had died from a single bullet which was fired into his back and exited through the chest.
Police are currently trying to determine whether the gang attempted to rob the men or planned to invade their homes in the incident at around 9.30pm on 7th January.

His mourning wife Vlada Suxov told local media: “It happened within seconds. They tried to rob him and they shot him.
The 40-year-old woman, who expects to give birth next week, added: “I don’t know if they wanted to take his cell phone. We have lived in Argentina for many years, since 1999.”
Sipatov reportedly originates from Krasnodon, a city in the Luhansk Oblast, eastern Ukraine.
Russian troops started to occupy the region in 2014. It was renamed the Luhansk People’s Republic after a controversial referendum was held in 2022. The territory is now under Russian administration.
The victim’s grieving dad Eduardo said: “Four guys, two motorcycles, guns, ‘boom’ and that’s it. Goodbye. I lost my son.”
He added: “The police haven’t told us anything yet. We have to wait a little bit. May God help us.

“His wife feels very bad. But I’m not afraid.”
Sipatov was working as a programmer and as a trader of cryptocurrencies.
The couple reportedly just finished the building of their new home.
Days before the killing, they posted several heartwarming photos of themselves on social media.
Spiatov’s brother-in-law, Dmitriy Sukhovyeyev, said: “He was chatting on the sidewalk with a neighbour when everything happened.
“He was with a friend when two motorcycles approached and shot him. We know that they didn’t take anything from him. He didn’t have any money. He did have the phone but they didn’t take it.”
Sukhovyeyev added: “We suspect that perhaps the thieves wanted to enter the house and he resisted because he had his wife pregnant with him.”
Federal Security Minister Patricia Bullrich announced: “Another family has been ruined at the hands of a motorbike gang. The impunity of this type of criminal is now going to end.”
The fatal assault is considered an attempted robbery and homicide by the authorities.
Prosecutor Silvia Bussano and the police are investigating.
